Tennis star, Serena Williams is engaged to the co-founder of Reddit.com, Alexis Ohanian. The 35 year old who hasn’t quite been lucky with her choice of men recounted how the proposal went on her Reddit account.
“I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance,” she added.
She continued: “But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”
Ohanian who is younger by two years also shared the Reddit post on Facebook, simply writing, “She said yes.”
They may likely tie the knot in Rome next year where they first met Ohanian. It won’t be particularly out of place as Serena speaks fluent French and Italian.
