The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III has honored Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor by conferring on him the prestigious Royal Order of Iwere (ROI). This honour took place at Aghofen, the Olu of Warri Palace in Warri, Delta State, as part of activities lined up to celebrate the fourth coronation anniversary of the Olu of Warri.

A dynamic preacher and author, Pastor Ayo, a former president of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and a former national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), is the founding and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church.

A philanthropist, he provides scholarships to underprivileged students in various tertiary, secondary, and elementary institutions both within and outside Nigeria, regardless of tribe or denomination. He has received several awards both internationally and locally for his various peace and humanitarian initiatives.

He is currently estranged from his wife Helen who he married in 1997, 13 months after the death of his late wife Stella with whom he founded the World of Life Bible Church on November 15, 1987.
