Released in June, Reno Omokri, an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan is already basking in the glory of the journal making Amazon’s bestseller list. The book chronicles some of the key moments of principal’s administration especially the kidnapped Chibok girls as well as the 2015 general elections that ousted Omokri’s principal.

In it, Reno Omokri wrote about his conversation with Matthew Page, a former intelligence analyst on Nigeria in the US state department. He learned from Page that the Barack Obama administration felt let down by President Goodluck’s administration. The issues Obama had with Jonathan, according to the book, include the alleged abuse of human rights in the north-east, the removal of Diezani Alison-Madueke, a former minister of petroleum resources, the same-sex marriage (prohibition) bill of 2013 as well as how 12 northern governors spoke vehemently against the Jonathan-led administration at several meetings they attended on the invitation of the US government.
