Canadian born rapper, Drake has finally squashed his beef with former rapper, actor and co-host of Billboard Music Awards, Ludacris.

During his acceptance speech for his Top Billboard 200 Album for Views at the awards ceremony, Drake used the opportunity to publicly mend fences with Ludacris.

“Ludacris, we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I’ve always been a big fan of yours and I got a lot of love for you,” he said. “I want to let you know that face to face, while I’m still here.”

Ludacris and Drake began feuding in 2011 after Drake accused Ludacris of stealing a rap line, ‘Supa Dupa’ flow which he and some other rappers like Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne used prominently.

“I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it,” Drake once said.

Ludacris had responded to the shade by clapping back in his song Bada Boom. “Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealing they flows,” he rapped. “But I can’t steal what you never made up, bitch.”

And since then, the rappers have not been on friendly terms until the awards night.

Drake also acknowledged that he was happy he and close friend, Nicki Minaj were no longer on opposing ends. Recall the duo’s relationship suffered a hiccup during Drake’s beef with Minaj’s ex, Meek Mill

“I want to say, Nicki Minaj, I’m so glad we found our way back because I love you and I could never ever see it any other way,” he stated.
