Controversial Anuoluapo Olufunmilayo Adepoju, who has been accused of carrying out botched cosmetics surgery via her MedContour Services LTD, a body enhancement clinic, that led to the death of Mrs Nneka Miriam Barbara Onwuzuligbo, among several malpractices associated with her has been charged to court, following her arrest yesterday.
The trial which will take place at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi is between Anu who likes to refer to herself with the appellation, Dr and the Federal Government. The prosecution is led by Babatunde Irukera, the CEO of FCCPC
According to a statement by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, Anu is facing criminal charges for failing to comply with FCCPC’s requirements in an investigation and refusal to appear and provide relevant information to an ongoing investigation.
