A former Oyo State governor, Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala has passed on.
A former police officer, Akala who tried to return to Oyo State government house in 2019 as the ADP candidate in the governorship election, died on Wednesday morning in his sleep at the age of 72.
His death is coming two weeks after the death of the Olubadan, Oba Saliu Olatunji.
