Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi has lost her only child, Raymond Ekwu. The 15 year old boy who has been with sickle cell anemia from birth was said to have died early yesterday morning from complications associated with the disorder. Being an only child who battled such illness, Eucharia Anunobi was said to have been there for him and given him the best a mother could give a child whom she loved so much. Raymond was said to have been her only source of joy and consolation especially after the break down of her union with his father. She was said to have invested so much into making life very comfortable for him. Born in 2002 after her marriage in year 2000 to supposed businessman, Charles Ekwu, the union ended in year 2007 after Charles abandeoned the marriage leaving her with their ony child, while she was outside Lagos shooting a movie.
