Folake Soetan, a former Chief Executive Officer of Ikeja Electric Distribution company has been appointed managing director of Arahas Global Oilfield Services, a subsidiary of Sahara Group.
Arahas Global Oilfield Services is Sahara Group’s oilfield services business, focused on providing services across the energy value chain. Her appointment is part of the company’s ongoing strategy focused on expanding its impact across the energy sector in Africa through operational growth and long-term development.
In her new role, Soetan will oversee the company’s operations and lead efforts aimed at delivering solutions to partners and stakeholders across the sector.
Before joining Arahas, Soetan worked across the midstream, downstream, power and airline sectors in both Nigeria and Ghana.
