Talented and veteran Nollywood actress, Rachael Oniga is dead.

Oniga who was still active as she only just shot a movie in Mowe Ogun State, passed on, late Friday night from heart failure at the age of 64.

A member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, the Delta State born thespian began her acting career in 1993, shortly after her divorce from her Yoruba husband of 19 years, who left her for another woman who she claimed bewitched him.

Oniga who was a grandmother was a recipient of an Ikorodu gift apartment from the Lagos State government led by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in recognition of her contribution to Nigerian theatre.
