Variety magazine is not only honouring a few women across the entertainment industry by recognizing their philanthropic efforts and the work they have achieved, the magazine is also featuring each of the five women on separate covers for a special edition. The honorees include ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ author, Margaret Atwood of the Canadian Women’s Foundation); Golden Globe-winning actress, Emily Blunt for her Malala Fund; American civil rights activist and founder of the #MeToo movement, Tarana Burke; Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress and writer, Tina Fey of the ‘Reading is Fundamental’ and Grammy award-winning musician, Alicia Keys of ‘Keep a Child Alive’. Through their humanitarian efforts, these women have made a significant difference to their chosen causes.
