The year has barely begun and singer, Tekno is already off to a good start with the eventual signing of his music contract with foreign music label, Sony Entertainment. The deal reportedly worth 4 million dollars was brokered by none other than the head honcho of Upfront and Personal, a music and artiste promotion outfit owned by Paul Okoye who is also a part owner of Triple MG, the music record label which Tekno is signed on. Recall that in November, Paul had hinted that Tekno would be joining the likes of Davido and Ycee on the label. The deal which was still in the works then was only just finalized as the trio jetted out a few days ago for the signing ceremony. With this deal, the ‘Pana’ singer is officially now, the biggest artiste from Nigeria, beating Davido who received $1million early last year.
