Tayo Ayinde, the chief of staff to Babajide Sanwo Olu, the governor of Lagos State has given marriage another chance. The gangling looking strategist of the state’s number one citizen has decided not to mourn his late second wife forever and has now taken a third wife.
Not much is known about the latest wife but he took the opportunity of his son’s wedding to unveil her to the world this past weekend. It was during the wedding of his son with his ex first wife, Titilola.
His son Samuel got married to his lover, Oreoluwa Adesokan at one of the Abuja branches of the Mountain of Fire and Ministries while the reception took place at Rainbow Event Centre. While Laolu Gbenjo was the choice music band to serenade guests, comedian Gbenga Adeyinka steered proceedings at the reception.
Ayinde‘s first marriage ended on a sad note. Whatever must have caused him to end his marriage with a woman who toiled with him when he had nothing, must have been quite unpalatable so much so that he thwarted every effort at reconciliation even when the thought of losing him almost drove his first wife into depression. Even though they have both refused to say what the problem is, close friends allege his reason was the flimsiest of excuses.
Barely a year after, in 2019 to be precise, he went public with his new wife Doyin, a niece to board room guru, Otunba Adekunle Ojora. Although she was much younger he could not stop appreciating her for giving him an opportunity for another chance at love and marriage.
Unfortunately, his joy was cut short when Doyin passed on in 2022, a few months after she gave birth to their second child.
Well it will be three years in November since she passed on and Ayinde has now moved and found succour in the arms of another woman.
