Forbes has revealed the official list of bright, brilliant, talented and successful women between ages 21-92, all of whom at least have a net worth of $225 million with athlete, Serena Williams making the cut as one of wealthiest business women in America. However, her money wasn’t all made on the court. From millions in prize money, ownership in the Miamid Dolphins as well as S by Serena clothing brand and venture capital firm, Serena Ventures.

The tennis legend is the first athlete to ever make Forbes’ list of richest self-made women in America. In addition to high-profile fashion and beauty collaborations and a large portfolio of advertising an media work, Serena Williams has invested in dozens of startups and plans to launch a jewelry line and a fashion brand.
“I want to be a part of it,” she tells Forbes. “I want to be in the infrastructure. I want to be the brand, instead of just being the face.”
