Still basking in the glory of the record breaking outing of The Wedding Party 2 in theatres, the founder of EbonyLife TV, Mo Abudu has again raised the bar of movie premieres in Nigeria with the premiere of The Royal Hibiscus Hotel. The event which took place at The Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos was aptly tagged a ‘Festival of Music, Food and Love’. Preceding the screening of Royal Hibiscus Hotel, was a music concert which featuring Mavins artistes; Johnny Drille, Reekado Banks and Tiwa Savage and others such as Tolani, the Veentage Band, Kaline, Falana and Cobhams Asuquo, who created the film’s score. Also some of Nigeria’s top chefs like; AJ’s Gourmet, Food Fashion Fusion, Chef Fregz, Chef Eros, Saheeto, Chef Imoteda, Salt Lagos, were on hand to create their signature dishes to excite guests. Others were KOTS, Indomie, Chef Imoteda, Hans & Rene, Salt Lagos and Loshes Chocolates. Accompanying the food were some of the finest wines, spirits and liqueurs.
