Barely a month after her death in Canada, some of late Moji Olaiya’s colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry are already cashing in on her death by selling DVD’s of her funeral recorded proceedings.
While the actual person who packaged the DVD is not known, the sole marketer and distributor of the DVD which is strangely named ‘Moji Olaiya: Canada to Grave’, is none other than ace movie marketer, Gbenga Adewusi who owns Bayowa films.
One wonders how anyone would want to dishonor the late actress who has been described by all as amiable, with such an act and more important, the absurd title. Also one can’t help but wonder if her mother, older daughter, husband and siblings were aware of this ignoble act.
To say that it is tasteless and indecent is simply putting it mildly.
