In celebration of his 50th birthday, the University College Hospital, Ibadan, UCH honours Saidi Balogun by making him an ambassador of the esteemed institution. He will be the first actor to receive such honour. For his role as an ambassador, he is expected to represent the institution in all national and international missions and other important occasions from henceforth.
The honour took place at the University hospital when the actor went with a delegation to visit accident victims on admission at the hospital. It was part of a lineup of activities celebrating his grand entrance into the golden club. The visit was obviously significant as he was once admitted there over a life threatening accident.
Meanwhile the grand finale of his golden jubilee party comes up on Friday July 7th at Grandeur events centre, Oregun.
