The Regent of Iboropa in Akoko Ondo State, Tinuade Babalola has revealed that she is forbidden to have a romantic affair while on the throne.
The youngest female monarch in Nigeria and the first female monarch of Iboropa Akoko, disclosed this in a Question and Answer session with her followers. Babalola who was asked if she’s allowed to have a boyfriend or get married while on the throne, said in response that she is not allowed to have a boyfriend as she has to be celibate throughout her reign.

The regent ascended the throne on February, 23, 2015, shortly after Oba Emmanuel Ayowole Adejuyigbe her father, passed on. At the time, she was a young girl who was trying to get a grip on life, an undergraduate, who just got admitted into the university.
