Zaynab-Otiti Obanor, a former wife of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife has given love another chance and has remarried for the fourth.

She has now joined the harem of Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) as his new wife.

Her new name now is Zaynab Ngohemba-George Akume Dajoh.

Welcoming her to the family, a family member of the Akumes described the union as a joyful addition while referring to her as an uncommon wife. The family member expressed gratitude to supporters of the SGF for their continued goodwill.

This will be Zaynab’s fourth attempt at marriage.

Her marriage to the  Ooni ended in 2017, 17 months after it was solemnized in March 2016 in Benin City, Edo State and Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Following the collapse of the marriage, she relocated to Doha, Qatar, and reportedly married a wealthy Arab prince, with whom she welcomed a daughter in 2022.

Before her marriage to the Ooni, Zaynab was married to a Lebanese named Elie Khouri, a phone repairer whom she met when he relocated to Abuja to set up a night club.

But before then, she was in an affair with Saminu Turaki, a former governor of Jigawa State during which she adopted the Muslim name, Zaynab. She got pregnant, fleeced the governor of millions of naira and then claimed the twins she was carrying died at childbirth. In no time, she dumped the governor the moment he ran into problems with anti-graft agency, EFCC.

She is also alleged to have also been in a secret relationship with Ahmad Ningi, a former Senator, who represented Bauchi Central in the last dispensation and the former Deputy Majority Leader of the Senate.

Hopefully, her new marriage will endure and it will be her last.
