The ongoing DNA brouhaha between afro beat super star, Davido and his alleged baby mama has again brought to the fore, paternity fraud committed by some women and how it has been on the increase in recent times.
Femi Kuti recently revealed how a DNA test showed that two of the children he has with one of his girlfriends turned out not to be his.
According to Femi, he once caught this girlfriend talking to another lover while she was in his house. The girlfriend thought Femi was in the bathroom, but she didn’t know he was right behind her.
According to Femi, the girlfriend whose name he didn’t reveal sat in his private chair, a chair he says no one ever sits on out of respect for him, with her legs on the table and was telling another man how much she loves him and misses him.
When he tapped her on the shoulders, she was shocked especially when he asked her why she was talking to another man in his house. She denied that she was talking to another man, but when he asked for her phone, she refused.
When he eventually got hold of the phone and dialed the same number, it was a man who spoke, and the first thing he said was, ‘I miss you too darling.’
Femi was heartbroken. He admitted that before the incidence, there were rumours that one of the children looked nothing like him.
For his sanity and for the security of the two children, his sister, Yeni advised him to carry out a DNA test on all the children with this girlfriend. But the girlfriend refused for the test to be done. The test was eventually carried out and that was when he discovered that two of the children the girlfriend had with him were not his.
