Elijah, the son of former heavyweight champion, Evander Holyfield may face a one-game suspension from the University of Georgia’s football team after his arrest on misdemeanor marijuana charges, possession of marijuana of less than an ounce and possession and use of drug related objects.

He was arrested by university police and released on bond less than an hour later. His total bond was set for both charges at $3,050, according to the Athens-Clarke County Magistrate Court. After posting the bond, the 5-foot-10-inch, 200-pound athlete was later released.

Under Georgia’s drug and alcohol policy, an athlete will be suspended for one game for being a first-time code of conduct violation of being arrested on a marijuana charge. Elijah is one of Evander’s 11 children.
