Perhaps due to his inability to reap the rewards of aligning with the international market, singer Davido took out his frustrations on his manager, Kamal Ajiboye by sacking him. The singer made this declaration on his social media where he talked about his frustration with chasing his dreams in the international market without making any breakthrough.
“Fuck all that international shit! It’s cool but fuck it. I am back to the basics,” the singer said.
Obviously, David Adeleke is pained ever since he inked a deal with Sony Music which has yielded no result and seeing fellow singer, Tekno inking a $4million Sony Music deal as well as Wizkid dropping his new trending single with Drake, ‘Hush up the silence’. Now, Davido, who had high hopes after he inked a similar $1 million Sony Music deal is yet to do anything significant in his music career for the better part of 2016 save for splurging on  a few automobiles. The single father also  announced that he would no longer entrust his career into the hands of anybody going forth henceforth.
“I am my own manager in 2017! Don’t put your life in another man’s hand,” he said.
It remains to be seen what next he has up his sleeves.
