Sope Aluko, the only Nigerian actress in the viral movie, ‘Black Panther’, has been honoured with her very own day, April 10, by the the Miami-Dade County in Florida, United States. The county proclaimed that hence forth, April 10 will be known as Sope Aluko Day. The Nigerian-born actress shared the news on her Instagram page. She wrote:
“Soooo this just happened!!!!! I was awarded a #proclamation declaring today as #SopeAluko day in #miamidade
