It is a very sad day in the household of the Okoyas as the wealthy industrialist, Chief Razak Akanni Okoya has lost one of his beloved grandsons to the cold hands of death. He is none other than Ayodeji Modupe Johnson, one of the sons of his favourite daughter, Biola Okoya.
The father of Biola’s late son is her ex husband, businessman, Akinwande Johnson of the popular Johnson family of Lagos. They were both married for about 10 years and during that time, they were the model couple every other couple aspired to be like until they both ended things and went their separate ways.
Ayodeji was aged 24 and he gave up the ghost after battling an undisclosed illness. He has since been buried and his funeral service was conducted yesterday via zoom by Pastor Ituah Ighodalo at his Trinity House Church where Biola who was born a Muslim and later converted to a Christian, worships. Pastor Ituah Ighodalo is himself mourning the death of his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo.
