Barely a week after the Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi and members of his family, alongside, Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, shut down the ancient city of Kano for the traditional marriage ceremony of their children, Idris Ajimobi and Fatima Ganduje, both families were at it again. This time, it was Ibadan that was shut down for the wedding reception. While President Muhammadu Buhari who was present in Kano for the traditional nuptials couldn’t make it to Ibadan, his wife, Aisha Buhari who didn’t make it to the Kano ceremony, was on ground in Ibadan as she led other dignitaries which included former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, governors’ wives, politicians, business moguls and several other prominent Nigerians.
