2025 was indeed an exceptional year for BUA Group founder, Abdulsamad Rabiu. It was an exceptional year of financial and business achievements.
First he gave out a whooping N30 billion naira to his staff in appreciation of their hard work. About five of those staff members each received N1 billion. Then he expanded his fleet of private jet by adding a third one, a Bombardier Global 8000, the manufacturer’s newest flagship aircraft, making him the first African owner of the coveted ultra-long-range business jet, which is priced between $78–90 million with bespoke interiors. It joined BUA’s corporate fleet, which already includes a Challenger 350 and a Global 6500, in December, creating one of the most advanced aviation line-ups owned by any African conglomerate.
Now barely three months after, the billionaire industrialist has commissioned a 60-metre luxury super yacht from prestigious Italian shipbuilder, Baglietto, joining the circle of African elites with custom-built vessels. The yacht, which is part of Rabiu’s extensive business empire, is designed for comfort, long-distance cruising and luxury living. Rabiu’s commission of this yacht reflects his status as one of Nigeria’s wealthiest businessmen and his commitment to luxury and bespoke assets.
