Tonto Dikeh, Nollywood actress and former politician has revealed that she once joined a cult and worked closely with demons
She made this startling revelation while sharing her testimony at a church conference in Tanzania.
Speaking at the 2026 Women of Fire Prayer conference while revealing the extent of her past involvement in the occult, Tonto urged the congregation to view her life as a testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness.
“He came to deliver and help me,” she declared.
The 40-year-old actress recounted a dark past, stating that she was once completely consumed by the world, where she operated and worked for demons.
She credited God with reaching into that darkness to rescue her, saying, “He dragged me out of hell and broke me free from demonic bondage.
“If you have ever doubted God, just look at me. If you have ever doubted the grace of God, look at me. If you have ever doubted the love of God, look at me. If you have ever doubted that God can heal, look at me. There are some people that God goes into hell and drags them out. He does not care about what you have been through or what you have done,” she said.
Dikeh detailed her radical transformation, contrasting her past with her present. She also elaborated on the depths of her former life, describing a struggle to navigate a wicked world.
“From a drug addict to an altar that praises God. From a devil worshipper to a woman who will pray to God with fire,” she said.
“In the midst of trying to navigate life. In the wicked world that I came from. I have put my hands in so much dirt. So many filthy things. I have joined cults. Operated and worked for the demons so hard. I know who he is. I know he does not have anything over me anymore. And today God said no. He said I will come back and clean you up.”
The testimony is the latest in a series of public declarations from the actress, who has previously opened up about being delivered from sexual immorality, anger, masturbation, and drug addiction since embracing her faith.
