Businessman, socialite and philanthropist, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has again been honoured with another chieftaincy title.
This is the second chieftaincy title he will be honoured within a week. He was first honoured with the title, Ife-Igbo-Ji-Ka-Mba by Igwe Ralph Obumneme Ekpe, the head of the traditional ruling council of Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri. His second title is Okpatozuora 1 N’Oba.
Obi Cubana who is the Chairman of the Cubana Group, was conferred with the title by the traditional ruler of Oba, his hometown in Anambra State in a colourful ceremony. The title was bestowed on him in recognition of his achievements in business, philanthropy and his contributions to the promotion of Igbo culture and excellence.
Obi Cubana said he is humbled by the recognition and pledged to continue promoting initiatives that create economic opportunities and support communal growth. He said that the honour would further inspire him to represent the Igbo heritage positively both within and outside Nigeria.
The event drew dignitaries from various sectors including banking, oil and gas, real estate and hospitality, as well as community leaders and business executives who gathered to celebrate the milestone.
