Bishop Dayo Olutayo, the younger brother of Faith Oyedepo, wife of Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel has announced a new woman as his wife.

He announced Funmilola Akinrinde as the new “Mummy GO” during a service in his church, Unity Worship Centre.

The clergyman while presenting Akinrinde told members that he wasn’t concerned about critics and encouraged everyone to welcome his wife with applause regardless of their feelings.

Whoever wants to be angry, should be angry… Help me welcome Funmilola Akinrinde. This is my wife… if you are happy, clap; if you are not happy, clap.”

He further noted that he has been experiencing personal attacks and hinted at a conspiracy against him, adding that he had never been married before now.

Bishop Olutayo was previously married to Boluwatife, his wife of 33 years until they both went their separate ways. The marriage produced children before it broke down. He is yet to publicly address the details of their separation which led to a divorce.

With his ex wife

Ever since he left Winners Chapel to float his own church, Olutayo has kept to himself, distancing himself from the Oyedepo family. Except for when his niece, Joyce Oyedepo got married in 2020, Olutayo has never attended any of the landmark celebrations in the Oyedepo family.
