Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche, the general overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre on Wednesday June 18, rejected N30 million cash gift from Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris.

The clergyman was in the state alongside his wife, Dr Pastor Mrs Becky Enenche for a crusade when government officials mounted the pulpit to deliver a goodwill message from the state governor.

While delivering their goodwill message, they revealed that they want to donate N30 million in cash to Enenche to thank him for all he has been doing in the state as well as to support the crusade.

But in full glare of the congregation, Enenche and his wife rejected the money.

They instead asked the officials to use the money to complete government projects or channel into projects for the less privileged in the state such as towards orphanages.

But the government officials insisted that they cannot go back with the money because it’s a gift from the governor.

They suggested the money be given to the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN to fence the cemetery ground given to them by the state government.

Enenche agreed to give the money to the state chapter of CAN for the fencing project.

Earlier, Enenche led a prayer and healing outreach to Yelwata, a community in Benue State recently affected by violent attacks.

The visit, which Enenche described as one of love, prayer, and healing, brought together clergymen and women, church workers, and support teams to offer spiritual encouragement and emotional support to residents grappling with grief and trauma

He also donated items to surviving victims towards amelioration of their hardship.
