In honour of International Women’s Day, investment banker and author of The Smart Money Woman, Arese Ugwu decided to team up with cosmetic house, House of Tara, owned by beauty entrepreneur, Tara Fela Durotoye to launch a lipstick called ‘Arese Red’ alongside a lipliner in same colour. According to Arese Ugwu, herself and Tara spent months going back and forth to find the perfect shade of red. On why the colour red, she said, “There’s something about red lipstick that just makes me feel stronger and it made me think of all the little and big things that keep me feeling empowered.”
