It came as a rude shock to villagers in Amaiyi Igbere in Bende local government area of Abia State when on Sunday 26 April 2020, 15 year old Abraham Samuel Onuoha got married to 22 year old Anurika John from Ebonyi State.
Despite opposition bordering on the age difference between the couple, the minister in charge of Assemblies of God Church Amaiyi Igbere, Rev. Okoro Ogbu went ahead to join them as man and wife.
Samuel, the only son of late Mr. Abraham Onuoha of Ndi-Ekpere in Amaiyi Igbere, and Mrs. Peace Abraham, was born in 2005 after many years of marriage without a child.
The occasion attracted all the ministers of Assemblies of God Church Igbere section, friends and relatives of the bride and groom and the Amaiyi Igbere community at large.
