After years of stalling and dilly dalling, talk show host, Wendy Williams, has finally filed for divorce from her cheating husband of 22 years, Kevin Hunter. According to the divorce docs, Wendy says irreconcilable differences led to the end of their marriage.

The documents state a breakdown of the marriage over a period of at least six months. She wants the court to determine an appropriate amount of child support even though their son, Kevin Jr., is over 18.  And while domestic abuse isn’t stated in the divorce documents, Wendy was clearly a victim of one as once corroborated by her mother in-law. “I saw Kevin choking out Wendy! Another time, I witnessed him kicking the s*** out of her and pushing her down the stairs,” she said.

Kevin was served with the divorce papers on Thursday morning at the studio he co-owns with his wife. The split comes after nearly 22 years of marriage, and most recently, Kevin’s mistress, Sharina Hudson, having a baby. Surprisingly, Wendy and Kevin still work together on set. The couple are said to be amicable with one another and show no overt signs of hostility.

Wendy Williams has been going through a rough patch lately; living in a sober house and getting round-the-clock help to deal with addiction issues and when she finishes with her stint there, she plans to move into her new place whih she is currently scouting for in other to get a fresh start.

Wendy and Kevin first met at an ice skating rink in 1994, getting hitched 3 years later. They have one child together, son Kevin Hunter Jr.
