Singer, former model and actor, Tyrese Gibson has taken his feud with former wrestler turned actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to a whole new level by calling him out over the delayed release of the hit movie series, Fast and Furious 9 of which they are both actors in.

Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram to criticize Johnson for pushing the release date of the movie to 2020. The film was originally scheduled for release in April of 2019. In his post, he said,
“#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU – And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post. Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah….. it’s about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I’m just a passionate film critic.”

Tyrese Gibson had earlier slammed Dwayne for concentrating on his solo spin off movie centered on his Fast and Furious character, Luke Hobbs, rather than creating time for the Fast and Furious movie. He had pleaded with Dwayne so as to avoid delay in the release of the movie. Gibson had written in a now deleted comment, “If you move forward with that #Hobbs Movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter. I don’t wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about. I’m on your timeline cause you’re not responding to my text messages – #FastFamily is just that a family…….. We don’t fly solo.”

Apparently his fears have now come to pass and fans will now have to wait for three years for the F9 movie. Recall that not too long ago, Dwayne had called out  a few mystery male colleagues saying they do not conduct themselves as stand up men and true professional.
