As soon as it became apparent last week that the trucks had been cleared to make way for the President and his All Progressives Congress (APC) cohorts to have a hitch-free campaign, social media erupted with many a Lagosian calling for the head of people at the helm of affairs in the state. Residents could not hide their frustration at the tankers becoming a daily reality only for the same to disappear because of the President’s visit and reappear after his visit, causing untyold hardship to commuters due to the gridlock it causes.
