Police ban Nedu’s wife from discussing him on social media

Uzoamaka Ohiri, ex wife of on-air personality with WAZOBIA FM, Chinedu Ani more popularly known as Nedu, has been refrained by the police from talking about him on social media.

Recall that Nedu was accused by his former wife of physical assault, an allegation he denied accused her of infidelity, claiming that the first child wasn’t his.

Nedu petitioned the police about his ex wife’s constant harassment of him on social media.

She was invited by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Fayoade to see Chief Superintendent Police Margaret Ighodalo.

In the invitation letter which was dated September 7, 2021, Uzoamaka was informed that the invitation was merely for fact-finding.

After the meeting, she was warned against making comments about Nedu on social media and was also told to return to the SCID on Friday.

According to a relative of Ohiri who stated that, “My cousin is seriously being harassed, humiliated and intimidated by the Police because of the status of her ex-husband.

“How does a family and civil matter concern the Police? The Commissioner of Police needs to caution his men.”

However, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, has stated that he was unaware of the case
