Tungba singer, Yinka Ayefele, has revealed that the present Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde gave him N15 million to add to the money to be used in rebuilding his Music House partly demolished by the past government in the state under Senator Abiola Ajimobi on August 19, 2018. According to Pmparrot, Ayefele said this while speaking on one of the programmes on his radio station in Ibadan last week Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the demolition of the station by Ajimobi.

According to Ayefele, “I thank Oyo State people for the support they gave me on that day. Engineer Seyi Makinde was the first politician that came to see me on Sunday morning after the demolition. He called me to one side and begged me not to think too much about the demolition. He said I should gather my things and go abroad to go and rest. He said I must allow life to go on and that I should not allow it to affect my health. He thus gave me N15 million.”

Ayefele also used the opportunity to specifically thank the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi who waded in to bring about peace.
