Global pop culture media, Konbini gathered fun loving young and young at heart to an evening soiree of drinks, finger food and music and culture. It was a fun-filled night that also announced its partnership with Nescafe. The event held at After House Café, Victoria Island, Lagos and featured cocktail stories from our Nigerian champions of digital, art, games development, comics and animated film. As an icing on the cake, it featured live music performance from new sensation, Funbi followed by a dance by Jemima as well as acclaimed dancer Qudus Onikeku and his troupe. The event followed on a successful showcase outing by the Kobini team at the social media week holding at Landmark Village, Oniru, Lagos.
Led by 26 year-old Damilola Odufuwa, Editor-In-Chief, Kobini has editorial presence in Paris, Losndon, NY, Mexico, and recently Lagos where it has run for the past six months. According to David Creuzot, the CEO, “We strongly believe that it’s positive people that change the world and what’s a better example than Nigeria?”
The roll call at the event included Mauricio Alarcon, Managing Director of Nestle Nigeria Plc Dayo Liadi, Segun Adefila and Ice Nweke among others.
