The rumour of former Made Men Music co-founder and signee, Iyanya parting ways with Don Jazzy owned Supreme Mavin Dynasty is not a rumour after all as Iyanya has confirmed his depature from the record label. Recall that the rumour started swirling in November 2017 that they have both ended their partnership but neither Don Jazzy nor Iyanya addressed the claims. Instead, both payed to the gallery, sending each other warm greetings, like Don Jazzy did on Iyanya’s birthday.

In an interview with Beat FM during the week, Iyanya said, “I’m now signed to Temple Music but I’m a Mavin for life. It was not a beef. I was there and it was time to move on,” he said.

Temple Music which was launched in August 2017, has as signees, 9ice, Bisola Aiyeola, DJ Jimmy Jatt, among others. Iyanya, whose previous split up from Ubi Franklin’s Made Men Music stirred speculations that they were beefing, also talked about his songs and the change in his sound.

“I like to try new sounds,” he said, adding that this is because he had been working with different producers and writers. My fan base has grown both here and abroad. Some people like the new sound but some people are stuck in the old sound. Shout out to Don Jazzy. He influenced my new sound.”
