Singer, Harrison Tare Okiri aka Harrysong, is no longer contractually obligated to Five Star Music owned by siblings, singer, Kcee who is the Vice President and Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money who is the President.
“I am running Alterplate now. They have given me their blessings and asked me to be free to run Alterplate. I am going to re launch Alterplate maybe in the next two weeks, we are working towards it.  We reached this agreement two weeks ago during a dinner. I have great respect for them, for them to have done what they did to me, to bless my company and say I’m free to go and run my Alterplate, they’re good people. Both families are ok now,” Harrysong said.

Recall that Harrysong was arrested earlier this year by the record label for fraud and breach of contract especially as he was still contracted to Five Star Music until 2019. But Harrysong who was formerly  signed to Questionmark Records claimed he did more his contractual obligations of just singing. He said he was also in charge of song writing, vocal coaching and music directing. He added that his efforts were not being appreciated, hence his reason for leaving.

After some peace efforts by concerned friends, Harrysong made a video telling fans he was back in Five Star Music and all was good. Now the duo of Kcee and E-Money have been magnanimous enough to let him follow his heart.
