After several years of battling high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney failure, all of which has left him bedridden and unable to pay his medical bills, help has finally come the way of veteran Nollywood actor, Prince James Uche. The actor who has been in and out of several hospitals and was finally sent packing from a hospital in Festac where he was on admission, just a week ago, due to his family’s inability to meet up with the hospitals’ financial expectations, now has cause to rejoice as the Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has donated the sum of 3million naira towards offsetting his medical bills. The governor has also pledged another 10million naira on behalf of the state while his wife equally donated the sum of 1 million naira. Similarly so for another veteran actor, Obi Madubogwu, who has been battling with diabetes and has been bedridden for a while. The actor recently made a public outcry over the failing state of his health, calling on well meaning Nigerians to assist him. Business man, Ifeanyi Ubah in his magnanimity, heeded to the actor’s cry as he donated the sum of 3 million naira to assist the actor. This is wishing both actors very speedy recoveries.
