After more than two decades, Fashion Police, the iconic fashion series on E! Network, would end its run with a special finale on October 27th. Launched in 1995, the style talk show which served as a platform for the late comic Joan Rivers’ famous wit and biting commentary grew out of the red-carpet coverage that reinvigorated Joan Rivers’ career. Appearing alongside her daughter Melissa Rivers, the comedian brought sharp humor and earnest enthusiasm to red-carpet coverage. Fashion Police carried that approach into a panel-show format in which Rivers and her co-hosts would engage in energetic, entertaining fashion-oriented discussions.

After the demise of Joan, 81, in September 2014, the franchise continued with the blessing of Melissa, 49, as executive producer who also became a co-host in 2015. Other hosts include Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, NeNe Leakes and Margaret Cho. The special will reveal never-before-seen footage including a previously unaired 80s-themed episode featuring the late show co-creator and long-running host late Joan Rivers, the legendary comedian. The network announced that the series hosted by Melissa Rivers, Joan’s daughter, will sign off with a special episode, ‘Fashion Police: The Farewell’.
