Popular musician D’banj and his former manager, Bankuli, have been in a war of words in the last 24 hours on social media over how Dbanj met Kanye West with Bankuli accusing the ‘Koko Master’ of doing drugs.

It all started after an interview was published by Pulse media a few weeks ago where Bankuli, a music producer, artist manager, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, spoke about his career, as a manager and connector. In the process, he narrated how he introduced D’banj to Kanye West at an airport in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Bankulli is known for working with Beyonce and Jay Z. He had writing credits on ‘Watch The Throne,’ Jay Z’s collaboration with Kanye West. He also wrote and performed on Beyonce’s album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’

Apparently, D’banj found a large portion of the story to be false, prompting him to storm Bankuli’s Instagram page and asking him to stop lying. Bankuli’s response was, “Silence don’t lie… there is truth in silence.”

D’banj further responded saying; “Then brother keep quiet and if you just must talk about Me, Speak the truth. Enough lies?”

D’banj’s response got Bankuli really upset as he then decided to go in hard on D’banj. He wrote; “hmmmm … I was thinking? what truth are you on looking for at this stage of your life …keep your energy for your career and love ones as you shall find the truth and the truth shall set you free. Be safe son.”

In another post, Bankulli wrote: “Doing Drugs will not help you but worsen your case (I heard about White powder) a shining prospect and you use your bad character to bloat all Away. Hmmm It is never too late to go and seek truthfully the forgiveness and truth you seek …look inward change your lifestyle stop lying to yourself that all is well but go back to the source so that all can be well with you. You have done so much evil to many people that we both know of and today I speak for them all. Cc @iambangalee (Dbanj Aka The Kokomaster alias kokomycine… *Drops mic *”
