Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday took a swipe at those condemning President Muhammadu Buhari’s performance in public outing, saying there was no problem and that the president is healthy.
“I don’t think there is any problem with the president’s health. He was in two states campaigning. You can listen to the campaign and watch it on youtube. The man is sane and well; fit and healthy,” he said.

Speaking during a dialogue with Christian leaders and youths at Ikeja in Lagos, Osinbajo said part of the reasons why so many people, especially elite are angry and anxious is because President Buhari doesn’t share the resources of the country with them. He expressed confidence that having President Buhari for another four years will be in the interest of the country because the resources would not be stolen.

His words: “President Buhari is not an orator. I am an orator and my business is oratory. I am a lawyer. The reason why you have a person like that is integrity. For the first time in Nigeria, you do not have people confident enough to say that I am going to run a deal with Mr. President. That I am going to make away with the country’s fund. Part of the reasons why so many people, so many our elite are angry and anxious is that he doesn’t share the resources of the country.

“If you want to get an oil block; if you want to get money or do all of those things; we are no longer in that business. That is the reason why I am very confident that if you have such a man like that for another four years, our country will be so much better because the resources would not be stolen.”
