Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has broken the record of becoming the first executive governor to get a female Aide de Camp. An assistant superintendent of police, Miss Ifeoma Akaya, a daughter to a late commissioner of police, Charles Akaya, is a legal practitioner. She was redeployed as Bello’s ADC following the transfer of Bello’s first ADC, Usman Shugaba, to Lagos. Shugaba, a chief superintendent of police, was later redeployed to serve as ADC to the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari.
